Intake Process:

NEOCAP staff work in conjunction with Adult Probation Departments to screen all felony offenders prior to sentencing. Male and female offenders who are eligible for sentencing to a “community sanction” are considered for placement. Following the screening process consisting of background checks and interviewing, a written recommendation is made to the sentencing judge through the Probation Department. Offenders may be sentenced to this program for up to six months.
